MY RAM LILA

My Ram Lila is a cluster of five sister events happening concurrently in an online virtual world for eleven days — from 26 September to 05 October 2020.

Ramlila, the traditional performance of the Ramayana was inscribed in 2008 (3.COM) on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (originally proclaimed in 2005).

AZIMVTH has significant virtual presence. Some of the other key virtual initiatives are outlined below.

VIRTUAL RESIDENCIES

Our residency programmes explore and celebrate the spiritual aspects of all art forms and creative pursuits. Some of the upcoming virtual residencies for the year 2020 are listed below.

  • Meditative Paintings of Breath & Wind
    This residency combines teaching and practicing of the meditation ‘Ritual of Breathwork’ with the art of plein-air painting. More information is here and here. Some paintings made by the participants can be seen here.
  • Writing Retreat for Spiritual Memoirs & Resolve
    This residency combines teaching and practicing of the meditation ‘Resolve and Make It Happen’ with the art of spiritual writing. More information is here .
  • Wisuals & Vords (10 Aug – 23 Aug 2020)
    This independent module exploring the inter-relationships of words and texts with visual art forms is exclusively available to participants of the virtual writing retreat at no extra cost. More here.
  • Stories of Breath & Death, the Dying & Dead, and Beyond (01 – 28 Sep 2020)
    This residency combines teaching and practicing of the meditation ‘Ritual of Breathwork’ with the art of story-telling and other fine-arts. More information is here.

VIRTUAL MEDITATIONS

At AZIMVTH Ashram, the residents and visitors practice a range of Yogic activities, practices, and meditation-techniques. Some of these have been developed in-house and honed with years of practices. Some others have been passed down by the previous masters or imbibed from others and traditional wisdom. Haridwar is considered to be the birth-place of meditation.

Keeping the pandemic in mind, we have curated a set of meditation practices that are offered online virtually. These are listed below.

Single session: It is possible to participate joining with single sessions. Up to 9 participants could be there in such sessions which happen at pre-defined time and dates.

Customised session: One may request an entirely customised session.

VIRTUAL LIFE COACHING

At AZIMVTH, we use applied aspects of spirituality in addressing all issues that afflict an individual and a community. Our approach is to intervene in ways so as to identify and remove the obstacles that hinder the mother nature in balancing a person.
